In the summer transfer window, Brentford player, Eriksen, is expected to return to Tottenham Hotspur.

After a remarkable comeback from a cardiac arrest, the Denmark international signed a six-month contract with Brentford in January and has so far scored one goal and set up two more in six Premier League appearances.

Eriksen’s representative will meet with Brentford officials soon to discuss the 30-year-future, old’s with Thomas Frank anxious to retain the ex-Inter Milan and Tottenham midfielder on the books for the coming season.

Eriksen, on the other hand, has “given the green light” to a return to Tottenham, where he spent six and a half years and scored 69 goals and 90 assists in 305 games.

Tottenham has made an offer to Eriksen, according to the report. He appears to be rejecting Manchester United and Newcastle United’s interest in returning to North London.

During Saturday’s Premier League match, Eriksen will face off against former club Tottenham and former manager Conte, and the Spurs manager is looking forward to an “amazing” reunion.

While the mood is upbeat, a manager like Conte isn’t known for sticking around for long. When you hire an exceptional manager like Conte, you want him to lead a club with the same level of ambition. He’s made it clear that he wants to win the league, not just place in the top four. Conte has never lasted at a club for more than four years, so whatever happens, he’ll be back.

All eyes will be on the club’s summer plans for the balance of the current season. And, if the Spurs are serious about winning right away, they should strongly consider bringing Christian Eriksen back.

Spurs will undoubtedly be on the lookout for additional wingbacks and central defenders. After Spurs’ previous additions, there is a lot of optimism about who they will seek. Paratici has offered Conte three reliable and adaptable pieces on both sides of the pitch in Cristian Romero, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Dejan Kulusevski. While the futures of other recent incomings such as Emerson Royal and Bryan Gil remain uncertain, Paratici’s rolodex has so far produced more booms than flops.

Spurs have generally used a 3-4-3 shape with established patterns of play under Conte this season. Conte has lately stated that he is beginning to believe that this team is his team, implying that the squad is completely aware of the patterns and motions of play required to break down different forms and win matches. Spurs, though, struggle when plan A fails, as they did on Saturday in their mid-day loss to Brighton.
