Paul Pogba is garnering considerable interest as his Manchester United contract expires this summer, with Premier League clubs among those interested in his talents.
Real Madrid, PSG, and Juventus are among the European clubs in contact with the France international’s representatives about signing him on a free transfer this summer.
Although no official offers have been made, two Premier League clubs have contacted Pogba’s representatives.
The 29-year-old has not ruled out a return to Old Trafford, although no new contract has been offered since last summer.
One of the elements Pogba would evaluate before making a definitive decision in the summer is the identity of the next manager.
“Whether it’s with Manchester United or another club, I want to win trophies,” Pogba has stated.
Pogba’s contract expires at the end of the season, on 30 June 2022, after he re-joined from Juventus in 2016 and signed a five-year contract with the option of an additional year.

Pogba’s future at United is now even more uncertain. “You have to be honest, the last five seasons have not satisfied me – really not at all,” he told French daily Le Figaro.
“This year it is dead, we won’t win anything. Whether it is with Manchester United or another club, I want to win trophies.
“I get along very well with [France boss Didier Deschamps], he gave me a role that I know, but at Manchester United do I really have a role? I ask the question but I don’t have an answer.”

Meanwhile, Paul Pogba has admitted to suffering from depression “many times” throughout his career. Footballers, according to the Manchester United midfielder, find it tough to open up about their mental health issues.
He goes on to say that large pay aren’t a barrier, and that the continual scrutiny that athletes face creates an intense environment in which they must operate.
In an interview with French daily Le Figaro, Pogba was asked if he had ever experienced sadness and said, “Absolutely, and countless times throughout my career.”
“I have been through it, but we don’t talk about it. Sometimes you don’t even know you have depression, you just want to be isolated, to be all alone, these are the unmistakable signs.
“From a personal perspective, that started when I was with Jose Mourinho at Manchester. You ask yourself if there is something wrong with you, because you have never experienced these moments in your life.
“Of course we earn a lot of money and we don’t complain, really. But that does not prevent you from going through these moments in your life – like the whole world – which are more difficult than others.
“In football it is not acceptable but we are not superheroes, we are only human beings.”
