The game was a perfect match for the two teams with lots of fan bases in Major League Soccer history. Atlanta United is a big club and they have big follows by fans, Charlotte FC is a much newer club but they have loads of fans and have one of the biggest stadiums among all major league soccer clubs.
Charlotte FC visited Atlanta United at home, they played a good game and kept the game tied until the last minute when Jake Mulraney found the back of the net and crushed Charlotte FC.
It was a heartbreaking loss for Charlotte FC who made a defensive mistake before conceding the second goal to Atlanta United. The game ended 2 – 1 to Atlanta and Charlotte will go home to prepare for the next match against the New England Revolution on March 19, 2022. The match will be played in Charlot in front of over 70,000 fans.
