Jesse Lingard is not happy with Manchester United and the England striker asked his club for some days off so he could clear his head. According to Ralf Rangnick, the board denied Lingard’s exit from Old Trafford because Mason Greenwood is dealing with some legal issues and won’t be available for selection.

Lingard is not getting enough playing time at Manchester United but he is a very good player. However, Manchester United has refused to let him go.

Manchester United Coach Rangnick Ralf said that Jesse needed some time off and we gave him time off. He needs to clear his head.

Ralf Rangnick on Lingard situation: “Jesse has asked to be off until Monday to clear his mind, #MUFC “He didn’t leave because we had a problem with Mason Greenwood – and also because of the club not finding agreement with another club”, Rangnick added.

Manchester United cannot do without Mason Greenwood and Jesse Lingard at the same time, as a result, United blocked Lingard’s transfer.

“3 weeks ago, Jesse wants to leave, he wants to get game time for his future and his World Cup dream. I said in case he finds a club that he wants to play for and the club finds something that works for us, we will let him go.

But we have decided to keep Jesse until the end of the season. The board told me they couldn’t reach an agreement with any club that was trying to sign him.
