In the caption, Ronaldo who has been playing professional football since July 1, 2002, described himself as the present while he described his son as the future of the game.

What you should know about Cristiano Ronaldo Jr.

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. was born on June 17, 2010, through surrogacy in the United States of America. Hence, the 11-year-old boy is American by birth and his ancestral home is Portugal.

Cristiano Jr. is the first child of four children. His other siblings are Alana Martina dos Santos Aveiro, Mateo Ronaldo, Eva Maria Dos Santos. He is expecting 4th and 5th siblings as the fiancee of his father, Georgina Rodriguez is pregnant with a twin boy and girl.

Unlike Cristiano Ronaldo that was groomed by one football academy, Sporting Lisbon, his son Cristiano Jr. has tested life in three different football academies – Real Madrid, Juventus, and now Manchester United.

Like Kai, the son of Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Jr. is trying to play his way to stardom like his legendary father.

Ronaldo is trying everything possible to ensure that his son is either as great as him or greater by coaching him and using his achievement to motivate him.

Recall that there is no major football award, including the Ballon d’Or that Ronaldo would attend without going along with Cristiano Jr.

As it stands, it is left to see whether Cristiano Jr. would be able to fully tap into his father’s wealth of experience to become the future his father has predicted.

On the part of Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese football star would hope that the case of his son would not be like that of David Beckham’s son Brooklyn who had trials at Arsenal before giving up on a football career.

Another football legend, late Diego Maradona had a son, Diego Sinagra who tried to be a professional footballer like his father but failed. He had to switch to beach football.

The most famous football legend whose son took after him and succeeded is Danish legendary goalkeeper, Peter Schmeichel whose son, Kasper Schmeichel currently keeps for Leicester City and Denmark national team. Just like his father, he has won a Premier League title.
