Today was a bad day for Latvia women’s national team as they suffer a record defeat at the hands of England’s women’s national team. Latvia lost 0 to 20. The most goals scored in a match so far in a World Cup qualifying match.

The Lionesses had fun beating Latvia 20-0 at Keepmoat Stadium on Tuesday, the win makes it five wins from as many games to start their qualifying campaign.

Bethany England scored a second-half brace, Ella Toone, Georgia Stanway, Jessica Carter, Jill Scott, and Jordan Nobbs all scored in the World Cup qualifying game.

The lionesses took 63 shots, with 30 on target, and scoring 20.

Today’s win over Latvia is the largest ever in European competition history, surpassing Belgium’s 19-0 triumph over Armenia on November 25.
