Harry Kane is reportedly set to go all out to ensure that he gets his desired move from Tottenham Hotspur to a more ‘ambitious’ club where he could win a major title.

According to Daily Telegraph, an unnamed teammate of Harry Kane in England’s national team claimed that the football star planned not to return to Tottenham during pre-season.

His aim for such a plan is to push Tottenham Hotspur to allow him to leave the club this summer since they have turned down a bid for his services.

Recall that Manchester City made a £100 million bid for the services of Hary Kane but Tottenham Hotspur reportedly rejected it to prove that they are determined to keep him at the club.

Before the European Championship started on June 11, 2021, Harry Kane had informed the club that he intends to leave the club this summer. His reason for wishing to leave the club is because of the club’s inability to win trophies.

The club’s chairman, Daniel Levy has stressed that the club is not planning to sell the club’s captain who captained England to the final of Euro 2020.

Also, the new coach of the club, Nuno Espirito Santo has insisted that he is planning with Harry Kane on his mind. He also insisted that there is no doubt that Kane will stay with Tottenham beyond this summer.

“When he arrives he will feel that he has to commit himself to become better. We are ambitious, we want to do well and we count on Harry to do that”, Nuno said.

“Harry is our player, period. There is no need to talk about anything else. Now is the time for him to rest. When he returns we can have a good conversation. I am looking forward to him joining the group.”

Harry Kane is currently on holiday and he is expected to return to the club before the end of July. If he does not return to the club before the end of July, it could mean that he has started his fight to leave the club. His current contract with the club will expire in June 2024.

Aside from trying to keep Harry Kane at Tottenham, the club is reportedly trying to sign Southampton striker, Danny Ings. The club did not plan to sign the striker as the replacement for Kane but to partner him during the 2021-2022 season. But it is left to see how it would end up before the season kick-offs in August.
