The Euro 2020 will kick off on June 11 across 12 different countries in Europe. The host counties include Azerbaijan, Denmark, England, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Russia, Scotland, and Spain.

One interesting part of this forthcoming edition of the competition is that almost all the teams are blessed with some brilliant talents. But some are more loaded than others.

Those countries who are going into Euro 2020 with richer squads are expected to go farther in the competition which will kick-off on June 11 and end on July 11.

As football lovers across the world are anticipating an interesting Euro 2020, FutballNews decided to highlights some of the teams that are most likely to win the forthcoming European Championship based on the depth of the teams.

France

France are the most likely squad that might take home the European Championship this year due to the depth of their squad. Recall that France are the reigning FIFA World Cup champions and they might add the Euro 2020 to it on July 11.

In the France squad, every role has at least one or two backups that can hold their own anytime, any day. For instance, the country is so filed with stars that established players like Dayot Upamecano, Alexandre Lacazette, and Ferland Mendy were not able to make the 26-man list for Euro 2020.

Portugal are another deadly team to watch out for in Euro 2020. It is not just because they have Cristiano Ronaldo in their squad but because of the depth and experience, the squad has.

They are currently the reigning champions of the European champions which is an extra pressure on them. The pressure could motivate them to do more to win the tournament for the second successive time.

Almost like France, every department of the Portugal team is blessed with talented options that can cause damage to any team in Euro 2020.

Aside from Romelu Lukaku who is on fire and Eden Hazard who can be unpredictable, Belgium has options on the bench and on the field that can silence any opposition. A fit Kevin De Bruyne can also make the team invincible.
