Victor Osimhen 21, Joined Napoli on a €50 million (£45m/$59m) transfer fee from Lille on Sep 1, 2020, sadly, he got injured during the international soccer break match between Nigeria and Sierra Leone at Samuel Ogbenmudia Stadium in Benin.
According to reports, Napoli Striker Victor Osimhen injured his wrist/shoulder during the 4 – 4 draw African Cup of Nations match and he was stretched off. He was replaced by Paul Onuachu in the 78th minute of the game.
As a result, he will no longer feature in any other matches that Nigeria has left in the African Cup of Nation competition. He has returned back to Italy where Napoli medical staff will take over his care.
Napoli football club medical team will do their own medical examination and they will continue treating their €50 million (£45m/$59m) star to get him back to the pitch as soon as possible.
Napoli will be playing against AC Millan on 11/22 at 1/45 pm USA time, Victor will miss may miss that match and he is also expected to miss Nigeria v Sierra Leone second leg match of the African Cup of Nations qualifier.
