FIFA have confirmed the 12 stadiums in the United States of America that will stage matches at the refurbished FIFA Club World Cup that will be held in 2025.

The tournament, which will kick off on June 15 and will run until July 13, 2025, is the maiden edition of the expanded Club World Cup, which will feature 32 teams.

Matches will be played across the USA, with the final to take place at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, 5 miles from New York City.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, alongside TQL Stadium in Cincinnati and Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, were also selected.

Additionally, the Geodis Park in Nashville, Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, and Camping World Stadium in Orlando were also amongst the 12 stadiums picked for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

Inter&Co Stadium in Orlando, Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles, Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Lumen Field in Seattle, and Audi Field in Washington DC complete the list of stadiums that will stage matches at the inaugural 32-team FIFA Club World Cup.

The 12 venues confirmed for staging matches at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup are:

European Clubs That Will Feature At The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup 

Chelsea, Manchester City, and Real Madrid have all automatically earned a place in the tournament, having been the most recent winners of the UEFA Champions League in the last four-year cycle.

Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint Germain, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Porto, and Benfica will feature due to their coefficient rankings alongside RB Salzburg and Atletico Madrid.

Teams That Will Participate From Outside Europe

In different confederations, different teams will also represent those continents, with Asia being represented by Saudi Arabian giants Al Hilal and Japanese side Urawa Red Diamonds.

Flamengo, Palmeiras, and Fluminense are three Brazilian teams that have made it to the competition, having respectively won the last 3 editions of the Copa Libertadores.

Argentina’s storied teams, River Plate and Boca Juniors, are likely to participate in the Club World Cup as high-ranked clubs in South America’s quota of six entries.

Seattle Sounders and Mexican clubs Leon and Monterrey will be joined by another team from the CONCACAF Confederation.

One spot is also reserved for a team from the United States Of America, as part of a Club World Cup tradition to accommodate champions of host nations.

Al Ahly of Egypt and Morocco’s Wydad Casablanca have made it through from Africa, while Auckland City from New Zealand will represent the Oceania region.

When Will The Entirety Of Teams To Compete At the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup Be Confirmed?

The complete teams that will participate in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup are expected to be confirmed on November 30, 2024.

This is because the last of the continental club competition finals for 2024 – Copa Libertadores, will be played on that day.

The Club World Cup had previously been an annual mid-season tournament that consisted of six teams from seven worldwide confederations.
