Although he might not be happy leaving the club he loves, but newly signed Athletico Madrid striker, Luis Suarez is happy with his family.
The Uruguayan has endured torrid days since the end of last season that wrapped with 8-2 demolition in the hands of Bayern Munich. Since then, there have been some changes in Barcelona. Former coach Quique Setien was shown the exit door and Ronald Koeman came in.
This also led Lionel Messi making a transfer request which was not granted, but Suarez was not in plan of the club anymore.
Since the contract of the striker has now been cancelled and being forced out of the club, all that is left for him is to seek succour with his family. And they have stood by him all through.
He took to his Instastory to apreciate them for standing by him all through.
“Thanks for ALWAYS support without you it would be impossible! I LOVE YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD!,” Suarez wrote.
New journey begins for Luis Suarez
Now that his future has been sorted, Luis Suarez will be looking forward to adding to his tally in the Spanish La Liga after becoming Barcelona’ third al-time highest goalscorer with 198 goals.
Suarez’s children include 10-year-old Delfina Suárez, Lautaro Suárez (7 years), and Benjamin Suárez (one year) As part of the celebration of his family, Suarez’s first son, clocks eight and the poacher is happy.
He showed his excitement over the development via his Instagram page.
