Adrien Rabiot has finally ended his impressive stint at Juventus and he’s available now as a free agent.

The French midfielder Adrien Rabiot has officially parted ways with Juventus after rejecting a contract extension offered by the Italian club.

The 26-year-old, who had been a key player for Juventus over the last five years, decided to turn down a two-year deal worth €7.5m net per season plus add-ons, with an option for a third year according to reports.

Rabiot’s future had been up in the air during the European Championship as he delayed making a decision, causing speculation about his next move.

However, Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that he will not be staying with Juventus.

Fabrizio Romano reported in the wee hours of Thursday’s noon, July 18 that the club has also decided not to make any further offers to Rabiot, marking the end of their long-standing relationship.

The renowned Italian journalist wrote: “BREAKING: Juventus confirm Adrien Rabiot to leave as a free agent, he’s NOT extending the contract.”

The French midfielder is now a free agent and is available to sign with any club of his choosing.

Romano added: “Rabiot, already available for free right now.”

Manchester United and Real Madrid have shown interest in Adrien Rabiot

With his contract officially expired at Juventus, the transfer market is now open for Rabiot to explore his options and find a new club to continue his career.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Rabiot is already in contact with several teams regarding a potential move for the upcoming season.

The 29-year-old French international is currently exploring his next challenge and has been strongly associated with a transfer to Manchester United, a club that also expressed interest in him last year, as well as Real Madrid.

What’s next for Adrien Rabiot?

Rabiot’s departure from Juventus marks the end of an era for the midfielder and the club.

Having been a vital part of the team for the past five years, Rabiot’s exit leaves a void in Juventus’ midfield that will need to be filled in the upcoming transfer window.

As the summer progresses, all eyes will be on where Rabiot decides to take his talents next.

Rabiot made a move to Juventus in the summer of 2019 as a free transfer.

The 29-year-old enjoyed great success at the club by winning a Serie A title, the Coppa Italia twice, and the Supercoppa Italiana.

Last season, Rabiot reached a milestone of 200 appearances for Juventus, becoming only the fifth French player in the club’s history to achieve this feat.

In total, he amassed 212 appearances, ranking him third among all-time French appearance makers for Juventus, alongside Zinedine Zidane. Only Michel Platini (224) and David Trezeguet (320) have played more times for the club among French players.

His overall career

Rabiot’s career began at Paris Saint-Germain where he debuted with the first team in 2012. During his time at PSG, he won a total of eighteen major honours, including five Ligue 1 titles and a domestic treble in 2015–16 and 2017–18.

In 2019, Rabiot joined Juventus on a free transfer and quickly made an impact, winning the Serie A title in his first season and the Coppa Italia in his second.

Having represented France 53 times at youth level, Rabiot made his senior team debut in 2016. He went on to participate in major tournaments such as UEFA Euro 2020, the 2022 FIFA World Cup (where France finished as runners-up), and Euro.
