West Ham star and Ghana international Mohammed Kudus was feeling at home as he relished his favourite Ghanaian delicacy in London.

In footage shared by his club, West Ham, the prolific attacking midfielder confessed he felt at home as he enjoyed the food. While there aren’t clues to the exact location of the restaurant, there was a Ghana national flag in the background, showing it was probably a restaurant owned by a Ghanaian.

As introduced by the footballer himself, he was eating Jollof rice with fried plantain with chicken. Jollof rice is a popular delicacy in Ghana, including their neighboring countries such as Nigeria.

Also on the table was Kebab – a fried meat from a lamp treated with spices. It’s a popular barbecue grill in Ghana. Kudus exclaimed, “Top!” after testing it and then added, “I feel at home,” when grilled by a faceless voice in the video, who is apparently an attendant at the restaurant. He was seen twerking at the end of the footage after apparently finishing the meal.

The footage is clearly a sublime reminder on how footballers cope with their meal choices when outside the shores of their country. Restaurants offering typical delicacies of the home country is always their preferred choice.

Meanwhile, it appears the Ghanaian footballer must be gradually adapting to life in London after he completed a move to West Ham United last summer. Compared to his past spells with other clubs in Europe, he had an impressive debut campaign with West Ham United in the Premier League, scoring 8 goals with 6 assists in 33 appearances.
