Thiago Silva is in a mourning state, due to the death of grandmother Dona Maria, and he took to Instagram to share his tribute following her demise on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.
Silva, who is expected to exit English side Chelsea at the end of the 2023/24 season, penned an emotional tribute to his grandmother, expressing his love for her.
Thiago Silva stated that he had the “best grandma a boy could ask for”, indicating that she always believed in his dreams.
His captions were included in a picture on Instagram where the 39-year-old was in the warm embrace of his late grandmother.

“You always saw happiness in simple things and when we were together, you smiled the biggest smile in the world.
“I had the best grandmother a boy could have, the one who always believed in my dreams. May God receive you with lots of love, I love you forever Grandma!”
