Iconic footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is not slowing down on his career heroics with Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.

The Manchester United and Real Madrid legend scored his 65th career hat-trick just three days after his 64th’s. We reported earlier the timeless football legend heralded another major milestone in his career when he netted his 64th career hat-trick against Abha in the Saudi Pro League.

Now, the Portuguese footballing sensation has added another hat-trick to the record books after he contributed to 5 of the 8 goals Al-Nassr scored against Abha at the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium.

The 39-year-old got off the mark for Al-Nassr in the 11th and 21st minutes, scoring two freekick goals to race Al-Nassr into the lead.

His third goal was equally brilliant. Abha’s rickety defending allowed the Portuguese a swarth of space on the left during Al-Nassr counter. He quickly picked his pace, and closed up on the Abha box. Meanwhile, Abha goalkeeper was off his line and Cristiano Ronaldo effortlessly chipped the ball with a first-time lobbed effort to bag his hat-trick.

Before the break, the Portuguese also assisted Sadio Mane and Ghareeb to add to the tally.

In the second half, Ghareeb scored again to bag his brace before substitute Abdulaziz also bagged a brace to make it a comprehensive 8-0 victory over Abha.

Cristiano Ronaldo has dominated the conversation after the victory as he added another hat-trick to his career just three days after doing so in Al-Nassr’s 5-1 league win over Al-Tai.

All his three goals against Abha was scored in the first half, including his assists for Mane and Ghareeb.

Ronaldo has now extended his lead on the Saudi Pro League topscorers chart to 7 goals. Before his last two matches against Al-Tai and Abha, former Fulham forward and Al-Hilal striker Aleksandar Mitrovic was just a goal away from catching up with Cristiano Ronaldo on the race for the 2023/24 Saudi Pro League Golden Boot.

Now, Cristiano Ronaldo’s prolific goalscoring form has seen him extend the lead on the ladder with a league-leading 29 goals to widen the gap on Mitrovic.
