    France captain Kylian Mbappe has expressed a fascinating opinion on players being paid or not for representing their countries.

    Mbappe, who is currently the highest-paid player in football, earning about €72 million yearly at Paris Saint Germain, is of the opinion that players shouldn’t be paid for representing their national teams.

    Kylian Mbappe called for the money to be used by the fans “in recognition of their trust and support”.

    The 25-year-old is being paid to play for France, as it is in line with the rules of FIFA that players should be paid for representing their countries.

    Mbappe made his debut for France on March 25, 2017, in a 3-1 win for Les Blues over Luxembourg.

    Kylian Mbappe is on his way to being the greatest player to play for a European nation, as he is currently their second-highest goalscorer with 46 goals in 77 appearances.
