Chelsea have completed the signing of 16-year-old Norwegian striker Bryan Fiabema from Tromso after their transfer ban was reduced by the Court of Arbitration (CAS).
Frank Lampard’s side were unable to sign any new players during the summer after being hit with a two-window transfer ban for breaching rules on signing young players, but they successfully managed to appeal the ruling which saw their ban reduced to just the summer window.
However, the Mirror reports that the Norwegian passed a trial at Stamford Bridge alongside another Norwegian, Grorud midfielder Christos Zafeiris to earn a three-and-a-half year contract. VG reports that the deal is understood to have cost Chelsea around £1million, but Tromso have also negotiated a percentage of any future transfer fee if Chelsea decide to part ways with Fiabema in the future.

FutballNews reports that the youngster was pictured posing with a Chelsea shirt bearing his name alongside club officials. The forward was present at Stamford Bridge to watch Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Burnley, and he was also permitted to enter the dressing room to meet the players and manager Frank Lampard.
Callum Hudson-Odoi, who has the same representatives with the striker also welcomed Fiabema to the club with a photo. Fiabema is expected to initially join up with Chelsea’s Under-18 setup, but he could also be fast-tracked to the Under-23s if he impresses. The youngster has made only one senior appearance for Tromso and has scored eight times for his country at youth level.

Romerikes Blad reports that the Blues are also being strongly linked with 18-year-old Lillestrom left-back Josef Baccay, who is managed by the same agency as Fiabema and current Chelsea players Faustino Anjorin, Armando Broja, Levi Colwill, and Ike Ugbo.
Chelsea have also been linked with the likes of Timo Werner, Moussa Dembélé and Jadon Sancho in the January transfer window. But it remains to been seen which of these players will move to Stamford Bridge this month.
