Finally, the big day is upon us. The grand finale of the UEFA Champions League takes place tonight. After 425 days of intense battling, only two teams remain and in a few hours’ time, one of them will be going home as champions of Europe. It’s PSG vs Bayern tonight. Both teams comfortably made it through their semi-finals with 3-0 wins over RB Leipzig and Lyon respectively and will now battle to be crowned kings of Europe – a title which would complete a historic treble for either club. Due to the times we currently are, the game will be played behind closed doors but that’s hardly a problem as there as various ways to stream the PSG vs Bayern match.
PSG and Bayern are domestically dominant forces but they are looking to go one better on the continental front tonight in Lisbon. The Bavarians are very much experienced in this tournament having won it five times. For their opponents, it’s a first-ever appearance in the final of Europe’s premier club competition. Robert Lewandowski will look to end what has been a remarkable season with the greatest prize in club football while Neymar and Mbappe are close to delivering the one thing PSG splashed almost £400m on them for.
