The Gabonese striker finished the season with 22 league goals for the London club, while he was also on target as he secured his first silverware as an arsenal player scoring the winning goal against Chelsea in the FA Cup final.

The FA Cup win also secured the team a Europa League for the 2020/21 season despite the club finishing out a qualification spot last season with ten loss and only ten clean sheets this season from 38 games in the 2019/20 season.

Aubameyang had shared videos and pictures as he stepped on a private jet with his wife Alysha and two kids Curtys and Pierre Jnr. Aubmeyang’s brother and his dad were also there.

However, the Arsenal board is still sweating on the captain’s contract as his current contract is about to run out and the club is yet to announce their agreement on a new contract. Real Madrid and some of Europe’s top clubs are jostling to sign the striker. Still, the Arsenal board are confident of tieing the captain to another long term contract; the club had recently confirmed the signing of Brazilian forward Willian from rival Chelsea on a free transfer.

Unfortunately, the club had recently layoff a lot of its staff with the Head of football, the latest staff to be axed due to financial constraints caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The club has also put some of its bright talents up for sale as they look to balance the books, academy product Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Folarin are both thought to be on their way out of the club in a bid to raise funds for transfer purpose.

Fans of the club hope the board can get its acts together and tie the striker down as they see him as an irreplaceable member of the squad.
