Allan Saint-Maximin of Newcastle United has completed his move to the Middle East to join Al Ahli in the Saudi Arabia Pro League.

The French International winger finalized his medical with the Saudi Pro League outfit some weeks ago without any difficulties and he’s set to join the club on a three-year contract.

The paperwork has been completed on the 26-year-old winger, which suggested a transfer to Saudi Arabia Pro League from the English Premier League club in a deal reportedly worth 30 million pounds.

The former OGC Nice forward will see his time at Newcastle United come to an end after he agreed to switch to the Middle East side.

Newcastle’s Premier League opponents have criticized the transfer because the Saudi Public Investment Fund owns Al-Ahli, which also has an 80% share in Newcastle.

Allan Saint-Maximin will link up with Riyad Mahrez who joined the club from Manchester City and Roberto Firmino. The trio will be setting up a real attack on the Saudi Pro League title.

Having already secured the acquisition of Roberto Firmino from Liverpool, Al Ahli are ready to serve up some exciting firepower in the 2023/2024 Saudi Arabia Pro League season.

Allan Saint-Maximin will depart Newcastle following the club’s signing of Harvey Barnes from Leicester City.

The arrival of the Englishman would terminate his chances of being a regular in the Champions League and Premier League, as well as making Didier Deschamps’ France squad for Euro 2024.

The 26-year-old would be a rare exception to Saudi Arabia’s plan to fill their elite league with legendary players in the twilight of their careers.

Current champions Al Ittihad have strengthened their attack by adding World Cup winner and Real Madrid icon Karim Benzema and former Celtic star Jota.

Al Nassr, where Cristiano Ronaldo plays, has brought in another international talent in the form of Seko Fofana and Alex Telles, and soon he may even have Sadio Mane on board.

In contrast, Steven Gerrard’s Al Ettifaq strengthened their attack by adding only Moussa Dembele, making Al Ahli the team with the best frontline overall.

Even the most potent defense in the Premier League would have trouble keeping up with Mahrez, Firmino, and Saint-Maximin.

Al Ahli added the trio because they want to improve upon their third-place finish from the last season.

On paper, Mahrez, Saint-Maximin, and Firmino provide Al Ahli with a lethal attacking three that can help them win the league and hold off their rival clubs.

In addition, Ronaldo will give it his all to win the trophy for the first time after losing it in his first season with Al Nassr.

His arrival put the club in first place until Al Ittihad passed them in the standings in May.
