Sebastien Ledure, Romelu Lukaku of Chelsea’s lawyer has denied that the Belgium international is in discussions with AC Milan.

Numerous outlets in Italy have declared the Rossoneri have opened conversations with Lukaku representatives discussing a probable move over the summer.

However, according to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, the former Manchester United forward has not been in talks with AC Milan.

Romano added that Romelu Lukaku wants to continue playing in Europe, verifying that he has neglected an offer from Saudi Arabia.

The former Everton striker will return to Chelsea on the 30th day of June after the end of his loan at Inter Milan and the Blues are ready to listen to offers for the 29-year-old.

According to football insider, Inter Milan’s director Piero Ausilio met the Blues director in London recently, but the Champions League finalist can only afford a new loan deal for Lukaku and have not discussed a permanent transfer for the Belgian forward.

Romelu Lukaku is keeping up for a transfer move to Inter Milan despite being linked with a move to Saudi Arabia Pro League.

The Blues are eager to move on from the Belgian forward and will allow Lukaku to depart if they receive a satisfactory transfer fee.

In the previous season, he played for Inter and took them all the way to the Champions League final, where they ultimately lost to Manchester City.

The Saudi Pro League is actively trying to acquire players from the European top flight, and they have expressed interest in the Chelsea striker as part of that effort.

While waiting for a new offer from Inter Milan, Romelu Lukaku has reiterated that he has no intention of moving to Saudi Arabia.

The future of the 30-year-old, who spent last year on loan at Inter Milan, is uncertain, but he would prefer to stay in Serie A.

Despite receiving a second offer from Saudi Arabia, Lukaku has made it clear that he has no intention of leaving Europe and would instead fight for the opportunity to remain in Milan.

The assumption that the Belgian no 9 could make a switch to AC Milan was suppressed by Lukaku’s lawyer, who announced that there were no discussions ongoing with the Rossoneri.

Instead, Lukaku is focused on regaining his starting position with the club he won the Scudetto in the 2020/2021 Serie A season before making the disastrous transfer back to West London.

Talking about Romelu Lukaku’s situation, Sebastien Ledure, the 29-year-old lawyer said; “No negotiations are taking place with AC Milan”.

“Lukaku only wants to stay in Europe and he confirmed this by not joining Saudi clubs now”.

“Chelsea’s position is very clear, clubs interested in signing Romelu Lukaku have to present a firm offer”.

He added: “Inter? They have the ball in their court”.

The teams are still talking, but Inter president Steven Zhang has been completely upfront about Lukaku’s attitude in recent remarks.

He said; “Romelu loves Inter, that’s very clear, he’s a great guy but he’s under contract at Chelsea”.

He added: “We have to wait and speak to Chelsea to make Lukaku’s future clear”.

To neutralize their £600 million spending binge over the last two transfer windows, the Blues are more likely to favor a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia for their then-club-record signing.

The West London club will need to sell off many players this summer to be competitive in the transfer market and be in compliance with Financial Fair Play rules.

The Blues secured the acquisition of the former Manchester United striker from Inter Milan in the summer of 2021 in a deal reportedly worth 90 million pounds.

Lukaku put pen to paper on a 5-year contract that runs until the summer of 2026 which includes an annual salary of £16,900,000.

What’s next for Romelu Lukaku?

The 29-year-old will return to the West London club later this month after the International break before he decides on his future.
