Blues manager Frank Lampard has gone to France for a timeout after a long hard debut season in the Premier League, despite the transfer ban on the club Frank secured a top-four finish for the club, got to the FA Cup final but was eliminated by Bayern Munich from the Champions League. Fans and pundits were happy with his first season in charge, and his achievement considering the conditions. He was spotted with his wife Christine and their daughter on an undisclosed location in France as they enjoyed the summer sun.
Super Frank’s return to the club
The Manager has over 429 appearances for the club with 147 goals for the club as a player were he spent 13 years. His managerial career started with 2018 with Derby County where he lost out in a promotional playoff against Aston Villa.
He joined Chelsea for the 2019/20 season in July on a three-year contract, with the transfer ban of the club Lampard was unable to sign any player but brought in a lot of the academy graduates into the first team, and impressed with his style of play. The season started with a bad result for the team as they lost the opening game against Manchester United, but the team picked momentum which he won the Manager of the month in October with a 100 percent league win.
Unfortunately, Lampard ended the season trophyless after he lost the FA Cup to rival Arsenal, with numerous players coming off injured in the game and was recently knocked out of the Champions League by German champions Bayern Munich 7-1 on aggregate.

Blues chairman Bruce buck has hailed the Manager and his team for what he termed a successful season.
“In the end, we think it was a very successful season.
“I think obviously we would have been a little bit happier if we had won the FA Cup.”
