Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool’s head coach has acknowledged that he likes watching Chelsea struggle this season.

The German manager said his happiness stemmed from his disagreement with the way Chelsea moved toward the transfer market throughout the season.

The Blues are having one of their worst-ever English Premier League run as they currently sit 12th in the Premier League standings and 10 points clear of the relegation zone even after signing sixteen players reportedly worth over 600 million pounds.

Despite the heavy transfer signings, The North London club has been humble in performance which led to the sacking of Graham Potter and Thomas Tuchel.

Jurgen Klopp, the Red’s manager noted that Chelsea’s struggle this season is an evidence that a team needs to be meticulously built.

Jurgen Klopp said; “I feel a little bit for them (Chelsea) to be honest, because it’s not going well, I think they’re a top, top team, but on the other side it’s good to see that you cannot just bring top players together and think it works out”.

“You have to build a team and that’s what the guys there underestimated and gave their coaches a nearly impossible job to do”.

Jurgen Klopp added; “You cannot have two dressing rooms, you cannot train on two pitches, you have to create relationships, you have to create team spirit, and that’s the only reason why I’m a little bit happy about it”.
