West Ham Vs Arsenal Premier League clash ended in a draw as Gunners missed the chance to go six points clear of Manchester City.

Arsenal needed a win against West Ham at London Stadium to extend the lead over Manchester City at the top to six points but that didn’t happened.

A great start for Arsenal

Arsenal got the game underway with a perfect start as the referee blew for the kickoff.

Just seven minutes into the game, a good buildup play saw Gabriel Jesus tap in Ben Whites’ cross to give Arsenal the lead.

Arsenal doubles lead!

It was another perfect display by the Gunners at the London Stadium.

Three minutes after Jesus’ strike, Martin Oddegard doubled the lead for the away side.

Martinelli beat off the challenge from West Ham’s Coufai from the wings and crossed the ball into the box for Oddegard.

The Arsenal captain wasted no time as he taps in the cross to make it 2-0 for Arsenal.

West Ham regrouped and tried to gain a foothold in the game after conceding two goals in three minutes.

Arsenal conceded a freekick after Holding slid down Antonio after he led a charge in the Arsenal half but Rice fired it on Arsenal defender.

West Ham put one back!

In the 32nd minute, Arsenal conceded a penalty when Paqueta was brought down in the Gunners’ box by Gabriel Magalhaes.

The referee gave a penalty straightaway and Benrahma converted it, firing into the bottom-right corner.

Arsenal takes lead into the first half break

West Ham’s goal came against the the run of play. Arsenal were the better side through the first half but failed to effectively threatened West Ham defense after the quickfire double.

Aaron Ramsdale was the Gunners’ first-half hero after he punched off what would have been an equaliser for the home side.

Arsenal dominated second half start

The Gunners got back into the game for the last 45 minutes of action.

They pinned back the host into their own half and were making frantic attempts to extend the lead again.

Bukayo Saka missed penalty!

After a marathon of pressure from the Gunners, Antonio have his hands on Arsenal attempt after a corner kick.

The build up to the handball as shown by VAR replays shows Antonio’s hand in an unnatural position making the referee award the spotkick.

Bukayo Saka stepped up to take it and sent it wide off target. It was a big miss for the Gunners.

West Ham equalise!

The London Stadium exploded with an uproar in the 54th minute with West Ham’s equaliser.

Jarrod Bowen leveled it for West Ham after he timed himself onside to volley home Kehrer’s throughball.

Mikel Arteta made frantic substitutions trying to chisel the game. Jorginho came in for Gabriel Jesus while Leandro Trossard came in for Thomas Partey.

It was aggressive press from the Gunners after West Ham’s equaliser but West Ham’s resilient backline led by Zouma were equal to the task.

Arsenal dominated proceedings but could not break the second half goal deadlock with the game far spent.

Arteta made further substitutions late in the game. Reiss Nielson came in for Martinelli while Vieira came in for Tierney.

It was still 2-2 with the game clocking the 90th minute mark. West Ham held off Arsenal’s late pressure to grab a point from the game after the final whistle
