Marcus Rashford of Manchester United jetted off to New York with his stunning girlfriend Lucia Loi and reportedly splashed £240,000 on Boeing 737 chartered plane.

During the International break, Rashford booked a Boeing 737 from Manchester to New York to spend some quality time with Lucia Loi.

The aircraft, which was just carrying the two of them, typically accommodates 124 people.

Rashford posted a few pictures from his romantic getaway. In the first, he stood with Lucia at the Bethesda Fountain in Central Park.

In the second photo, Rashford was barely recognizable as he bundled up against the chilly New York atmosphere.

Rashford captioned the photo, which showed him with a black hat and a buff pulled up over his nose, “Downtime.”

Marcus Rashford and Lucia met in a Greater Manchester school when they were barely 15 years old. They got engaged in May of last year.

Lucia, who holds a degree in advertising and brand management, has accompanied Marcus on trips to events like the World Cup in the past.

While the Three Lions played Euro qualifying matches against Italy and Ukraine, several football fans criticized the timing of Rashford and Lucia’s trip to Manhattan.

The trip was defended by Gareth Southgate when he withdrew from the England squad due to an injury. “Once Marcus is disqualified from the squad, how he spends his time is entirely up to him,” he stated.

Rashford beat Leicester with a record-breaking brace as he recovered from his knock.

The United star now faces a brief period on the sidelines due to a muscular issue, but the knock that prohibited him from playing for the Three Lions quickly came back to worry him.

Marcus Rashford is a happy man. Due to an injury sustained while playing for Manchester United, the English star was ruled out of the England squad during the international break.

Under the cautious eye of Erik ten Hag, Rashford has rediscovered his footing this season. The Englishman is presently the Red Devils’ leading scorer this year with 28 goals.

Rashford will likely spend more time on the sidelines after limping off the pitch against Everton earlier this month.

Over the past week, more terrible injury news has hit Manchester United.

Raphael Varane was struck early in the quarterfinal first leg with a knock of his own and defensive rock Lisandro Martinez sustained a fractured metatarsal against Sevilla on Thursday. He will miss the rest of the season.

Erik ten Hag, the manager of United, acknowledged that it was unlikely the Englishman would return for their second leg the following Thursday.

However, with injuries to Martinez and Varane in other places, United will be anxiously awaiting the return to fitness of their top goal scorer.
