The 21-year-old became the youngest player in Premier League history to bagged a hat-trick of assists as the Eagles demolished Leeds in front of their home fans on Sunday.

The English-born youngster led the rout at Elland Road outclassing the home side with a vintage display to make Roy Hodgson smiled home with their biggest Premier League win this season.

Roy Hodgson, who just assumed the reins as manager at Selhurst Park after the sack of Patrick Vieira, was full of praise for the burgeoning French midfield maestro.

Crystal Palace raised dust early in the first half when Bamphod opened the scoring for the home side but Guehi canceled out the lead with a first half stoppage-time strike.

In the second half, Michael Olise produced a stunning series of assists to put the game beyond Leeds.

It took the young midfielder just 25 minutes to shatter Leeds at Elland Road by turning the game around with his skillful moves.

In the 53rd minute, Michael Olise assisted Crystal Palace second goal scored by Ayew.

Just two minutes after the goal, Olise delivered another stunning assist for Eze, who scored to double the lead.

In the 77th minute, he delivered his third assist to Ayew as the Ghana international bagged his brace after netting Crystal Palace’s 5th.

Aged 21 years, 118 days, Michael became the first youngest player to hit the fastest triple assist in the history of the Premier League.

His assist tally has now risen to 13 and is the second youngest player with 13 assists. Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka is the youngest player at 21 and below with more assist in the Premier League than Michael Olise.

Olise has been tipped as one of the brightest and most promising youngsters, rising fast into the ranks of legendary playmakers in the game.

Reacting to Michael Olise’s superlative performance in the game, Roy Hodgson confessed his admiration for the youngster and the great career before him.

Speaking in post match conference, Hodgson said, he has seen Michael Olise in 10 days less than he has seen others, adding he is built with enormous talent.

“I have seen Olise in 10 days less than I have seen others. He is such a great talent and promising youngster.”

Michael Olise had his youth career with the biggest clubs in England. He has played for Manchester City, Arsenal, and Chelsea youth teams before joining Reading Academy, where he progressed to make his first senior club appearance in 2019 in Championships.

After a two-year stint with Reading, Olise joined Crystal Palace in 2021. He has made 56 appearances for the club, scoring two goals.

He plays for France U-21 and is yet to make his debut for France senior men’s national team.
