Fabio Paratici has finally spoken out days after Tottenham sacked Italian manager Antonio Conte on March 26, 2023. Conte got sacked after making an outrageous statement about Spurs and the players.

Fabio Paratici, who is the sporting director of the London club, will be heavily involved in the search for a new manager.

However, since Conte’s dismissal, Fabio Paratici had failed to comment on the exit of his countryman. Only club chairman Daniel Levy has made a public remark about it.

With ten matches remaining till the end of the season, the club has now put Cristian Stellini and Ryan Mason in charge until a permanent manager is found, as they hope to get Champions League qualification next season.

However, some fans were left surprised after the sacking of Conte was announced.

Paratici took the unusual step of releasing a five-minute video via Tottenham’s official Twitter page to explain the decision.

In the video, Fabio Paratici offered his sympathy to Conte, even though he failed to win trophies during his short tenure at the club.

The football director believes it was the right decision to part ways with the manager and appoint Stellini and Mason as caretakers.

The club doesn’t want the players to change their style of play with just ten matches remaining in the Premier League.

Also in the video, Fabio Paratici insisted he would not be drawn into commenting about the club manager search. He explained that the club could have performed better in the FA Cup, where
they were eliminated by Sheffield United.

Paratici is looking forward to the club’s success at the end of the season. The main target of the club is to qualify for the Champions League, and Paratici believes it is achievable.

The football director also urged the fans to continue supporting the club for the next two months.

He also indicated that the search for a new manager is not imminent and that their focus is on finishing the remaining matches of this season.

Tottenham had never lost a match where Stellini led the team. He was tactically sound, and the club played a different brand of football entirely.

When Conte was sick, Tottenham were more creative up front. Mason, on the other hand, knows the club very well. He was in charge when Jose Mourinho was sacked by Tottenham.

He led the club in the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City. Stellini and Mason can do a great job in ensuring that the club succeeds this season.

However, fans are more interested in who is going to be the next permanent manager of the club.

There are rumors that recently-sacked Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann may be appointed to replace Conte.

Fans are also keen on the reunion with former manager Mauricio Pochettino, who managed the club from 2014 to 2019 and took them to the Champions League final, which they lost to Liverpool.
