Chelsea manager Graham Potter has confirmed his family and his mental health have been affected as Chelsea’s poor run this season continues.
Potter has come under intense pressure as the Blues struggle in the Premier League this season.
The under-pressure gaffer has hit the lows of his managerial career at Chelsea following an abysmal run of results that has left the Blues far off the Premier League top four.
Statistics have shown Graham Potter is Chelsea’s least-performing manager with the least win percentage.
The Blues have managed just two wins in their last 15 matches across all competitions under Graham Potter.
In his 17 Premier League matches in charge, Graham Potter has managed 5 wins, 6 draws, and 6 losses with a win percentage of 29.4%, placing him below other low-performing managers such as David Webb, Glenn Hoodle, and Ian Porterfield in Chelsea’s history.
The Blues’ poor run of form worsened with a shock 0-1 loss to Southampton, who are trapped in the relegation zone in the Premier League.

After the Southampton defeat, Chelsea sits 10th in the Premier League, 11 points off the Champions League spot.
Speaking of the effects of the Blues’ poor form and the mounting criticisms, Graham Potter said it is normal for criticisms to flood in, but have affected his mental health and family.
He, however, added, the mood by the club’s hierarchy has always been positive and respectful despite the barrage of criticisms that has inundated his table recently.
“With the results as they are, you accept criticism,” Potter said.
“That should come. That’s fair. The mood here has always been positive and respectful.
“That’s not to say it’s easy at all. Your family life suffers, your mental health suffers, your personality – it is hard.”
Graham Potter took over the reins as Chelsea manager in September, 2022 after Thomas Tuchel was sacked by Todd Boehly following a poor run of form.
He has played a total of 25 games as Chelsea manager across all competitions and has managed just nine wins
Despite pressure by the Chelsea fans base to have the former Brighton manager relieved of his duties, reports have emerged Graham Potter still has the support of Todd Boehly and other members of the club hierarchy.
However, The Sun reports that Todd Boehly has convened showdown talks with Graham Potter asking him to turn the current misfortunes of the club.
Todd Boehly had splashed a whooping £585m on new signings and is expecting Potter to utilize the fine legs at his disposal to grind out results.
Chelsea will travel to London Stadium to take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League in their next fixture before hosting Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League round 16 second leg at Stamford Bridge.
The two fixtures are crucial to Graham Potter and may likely determine his future at the club as the pressure mounts.
