Neymar Jr has been attacked by fans for going to McDonald’s and visiting a 9,000 pounds poker night after PSG suffers a defeat against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League.

After PSG’s 1-0 loss to Bayern Munich, Neymar reportedly played in a poker event before heading to McDonald’s.

Following PSG’s loss in the Champions League on Tuesday, February 14th, 2023, Neymar reportedly still made it to the Poker game in Paris on Wednesday.

Neymar skipped unwinding at the team hotel and went to the Paris Hyatt Regency to play in the European Poker Tour, stopping by at McDonald’s to satiate his hunger.

Meanwhile, Neymar spent €10,000 (£8,895) to get into the game and then went to a McDonald’s in Paris later that night.

Pictures of Neymar and his pals inside a fast food joint have surfaced. He was last spotted wearing a green sweater and black trousers.

After PSG’s loss to Bayern Munich, Neymar was criticized for his play selection.

Kylian Mbappe stated after the game that his teammates needed to “sleep well and eat well” before the second leg against Bayern Munich.

After Mbappe advised his teammates to take care of themselves, several supporters thought it was wrong for Neymar to attend a poker game and dine at McDonald’s.

One football fan wrote in a statement that reads; “What a lack of professionalism. To put it bluntly, he couldn’t care less about football, and his excessive lifestyle was justified by his obscene income”.

Bayern Munich leads PSG 1-0 after the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinal match thanks to a goal from Kingsley Coman in the second half.

However, the recent dip by PSG has placed doubt over his long-term future in the French capital, even though the Brazil international is having a spectacular year in Paris, recording 17 goals and 16 assists in just 28 games.

Although PSG is not in a hurry to get rid of Neymar, the club is reportedly open to a potential departure for the 31-year-old at the end of the season, and numerous Premier League clubs have reportedly been in contact about a possible move.

The French powerhouses have struggled mightily recently, winning just twice in their last eight matches.

There was a palpable air of displeasure about the club in the days leading up to the game. Fans showed their displeasure on Sunday after a 3-1 loss in Monaco, and defender Presnel Kimpembe addressed the crowd over a megaphone to offer an apology.

Fans were so fed up with their team’s lack of success that the day before their game against Bayern Munich, they lined the road leading to their training facility and booed the players as they entered.

After another poor performance against Bayern Munich, their ultras voiced their anger at the Parc des Princes.

On March 8, PSG will go to Germany for the return leg, hoping to reverse their fortunes. Mbappe said after the game that they can still improve, provided they “swiftly move on” from their loss.
