The manager of Liverpool football club, Jurgen Klopp can not stop making Wycombe Wanderers striker Adebayo Akinfenwa the happiest man on earth. The 38-year-old striker who reportedly weighs 101kg called out Klopp after helping his team to win the EFL League One play-offs. He said during a televised interview that the only person that should join him via Whatsapp to celebrate the victory was Klopp.

After the British footballer said that, Klopp surprised him with a WhatsApp video call and Akinfenwa was so stunned that he had to film the whole conversation and shared it with his over 241 thousand Twitter followers. In the caption of the video, he described Jurgen Klopp as a myth and a legend.

As if that was not enough, Jurgen Klopp invited the double size striker to the proposed Premier League victory parade of Liverpool. While issuing the invite to Akinfenwa during a pre-match press conference on Tuesday, Klopp said the invite was 100 per cent. He also assured that he would meet with the inspiring footballer someday.
“When it’s possible, in the future one day,” Klopp said when asked if the two will meet. “I don’t know when exactly, but he is invited for the parade, 100 per cent.
“I saw, before the video when he was sitting in the team meeting in a Liverpool kit, which I thought was really funny. I watched the game [and] yes, he responded – he sent a video back. It’s private [what he said], at least a few things in life should stay private. It was nice, he was obviously really happy.”

Who is Akinfenwa?
Akinfenwa was born in Islington, North London and is of Nigerian descent. His father is a Muslim and his mother is a Christian, and while Akinfenwa observed Ramadan as a child, he is now a Christian. As a child, he supported Liverpool and his favourite player was John Barnes.
Akinfenwa has become well known for being ranked as the strongest footballer in the world in various editions of the FIFA videogame series.
He runs a clothing label called Beast Mode On which plays on his strong man reputation. His autobiography The Beast: My Story was published by Headline Publishing in 2017.
He has played for over 11 clubs between 2001 until date. Some of the clubs he has played for include Swansea City, Northampton Town, AFC Wimbledon, Boston United and Doncaster Rovers.
