Real Madrid have reportedly reached out to the gaffer of Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp, about the possibility of becoming their next manager.

Jurgen Klopp has spent the last eight years with the Merseyside based club and he has been largely successful with the Reds.

In the 2019/20 League season, Jurgen Klopp did the unprecedented with the Reds in Premier League history, taking Liverpool to Premier League glory and putting an halt to the club’s 30-year hope for a league trophy.

Elated Jurgen Klopp

A season earlier in the 2018/19 season, he painstakingly took the Reds to Champions League glory doing the miracle at Anfield against Barcelona, before defeating Tottenham Hotspur in the final to win Liverpool’s sixth (6th) UEFA Champions League title.

Jurgen Klopp has won every trophy available to him at Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp has laid his hands on every possible trophy available for him to win at Liverpool except the UEFA Europa League which he lost to Sevilla in the final during his early days with the Reds.

He has won the FA Cup, English Football League Cup, UEFA Super Cup and the Community Shield but it looks like he is uninspired and in need of a new challenge away from Liverpool.

The Reds have endured a torrid season with players not delivering up to expectation in addition to injuries that have largely marred their season.

The Reds, until their win against city rivals Everton, were without a win in four Premier League games and they also sit faraway from the top 4.

Liverpool are nine (9) points behind Newcastle United in fourth on the English Premier League table although they do have a game in hand.

According to reports, this has contributed to the train of thoughts that is leading the German manager towards moving away from Anfield and finding another challenge.

Real Madrid ready to accept Jurgen Klopp

Reports from El Nacional indicate that Real Madrid would be willing to welcome the services of Jurgen Klopp as their manager, when he leaves the club.

El Nacional claims that Real Madrid have discussed with Jurgen Klopp who has defined his contractual terms to the Spanish club.

Carlo Ancelotti is currently at the helm of affairs with the Real Madrid side until the year 2024 but there is an indication that his days with the club might be numbered.

His position at the club hangs on the on-the-pitch success of The Blancos side in the second half of the 2022/23 season.

In Morocco over the weekend, Real Madrid defeated Saudi Arabian side, Al-Hilal, to win the FIFA Club World Cup, a trophy that meant Real Madrid have now won 100 trophies since the club was founded in 1902.

And customary with Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti is under pressure to deliver more trophies to the club this campaign.

Retaining the La Liga Santander probably is a daunting task based on Barcelona’s wonderful season, but the Copa Del Ray and UEFA Champions League look like available options for silverware this season.

Real Madrid battle Barcelona in the Copa Del Ray which they last won in the 2013/14 season under Ancelotti defeating Barcelona 1-0 in the final.

They also have Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool to contend with in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

Only time would tell how the next phase of Real Madrid would be and if it would be in the hands of the Italian manager, Carlo Ancelotti or the German tactician in Jurgen Klopp.
