For £42.5 million (€50 million), Barcelona and Bayern Munich have agreed to allow Robert Lewandowski to join the Spanish squad.
Lewandowski travelled to Spain on Saturday to undergo medicals before signing a three-year deal that includes a one-year extension.
The Polish international notified Bayern that he would not be renewing his contract after just one year had passed.
Lewandowski’s German champions turned down a €40 million (£33.8 million) offer from Barcelona last month despite having previously insisted he wasn’t for sale.
