Everton could get into more trouble after they were slammed with a 10-point deduction by the Premier League as they could lose several star players in the coming months.
Sean Dyche’s side were hit with a huge 10-point deduction for breaching financial fair play regulations.
This punishment indicates that the Toffees have dropped 5 spots on the Premier League log, which has seen them descend to 19th on the table.
Everton were hit with this sanction after recording staggering losses of £44.7 million for the 2021/22 campaign, with their 3-year losses accumulating to £124.5 million.
Their losses have sprung up above the Premier League limit, which allows a maximum of £105 million across a period of three years, by £19.5 million.
This has ultimately resulted in them being docked massive 10 points for their actions, however, relegation isn’t their only worry at this point as they could also lose several big-name players in the coming months.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin
The Englishman could be on his way out of the club, due to the recent happenings, and despite his injury issues, he can still attracted interest from across Europe.
Calvert-Lewin has scored 50 goals in 190 Premier League appearances and has been courted by teams like Arsenal and Italian side Roma in recent years.
Since he is just 26-year-old, Dominic Calvert-Lewin will be a bargain for any club that succeeds in getting him, with his current deal also expiring in 2025.
Jordan Pickford
The 29-year-old is one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League, and he also could be on his way out soon.
Several clubs have come asking for his services in the past few years, including; Manchester United and Chelsea.
He is most likely wouldn’t leave for a low amount, as he has a deal with the Toffees running until 2027.
Jarrad Branthwaite
The young defender with huge potentials has been a target of Newcastle United. Branthwaite has had loan spells at Blackburn Rovers and PSV, and he has consistently developed himself.
The 21-year-old has earned a first-team shirt at the club, with Sean Dyche handing him a starting shirt.
