The 40-year-old star of AC Milan is working his way back to full fitness after sustaining a knee injury last season that many believed would terminate his career.

In an Instagram post this week, he demonstrated to supporters the lengths he had gone to get back on the field while adamantly stating that he has no plans to retire just yet.

But when he released the risqué video, his 55 million followers received a little more than they anticipated.

The video shows Zlatan Ibrahimovic getting the procedure done while having his backside tattooed. And you can see his bum twitching as he received many direct electric shocks there.

The celebrity writes in his memoirs that getting tattoos is “like a drug” as he displays some fresh artwork.

Zlatan’s back is covered with a huge lion head, while his front is covered in prayers to God.

It’s believed that the AC Milan striker won’t be ready to return to the field of play until the new year.

The length of Ibrahimovic’s career, however, has not been affected by this, as he dismissed thoughts of retiring.

He stated this to Gazzetta dello Sport: “I am arrogant, zero fear. I’m well, I’m working every day to come back.

“You will surely see it. When I come back, I will be heard, you can count on it. I will do it with violence.

“Patience is needed, that’s the key now. I’m not going to retire, I’m coming back and I won’t give up.

“If I see a player stronger than me, I’ll stop. But I haven’t seen him yet.”

Ibrahimovic also announced his movie debut recently when he posted the Asterix & Obelix: The Middle Kingdom movie trailer on Twitter.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic Tattoos

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s surname and the names of his kids Vincent and Maximilian are tattooed in Arabic on the back of his right arm.

On his lower back, he also has a roaring lion and the common Buddhist “Five Deva Faces Yantra,” which represents the elements of wind, water, fire, creative awareness, and space.

On his upper right arm, he has a second Buddhist tattoo called a “Yant Prajao Khao Nirote,” which is a guardian symbol meant to end family misery.

He has the tattoo “Only God can judge me” on his ribcage. A feather, a Koi fish, a Polynesian tribal card, an ace of hearts, and a club are also in his possession.

Injury Issues

The storied forward admitted that in order to help AC Milan win the Serie A championship, he played the final two months of the 2021–2022 season without an ACL in his knee.

Ibrahimovic, who was 40 when he sustained the injury, has a contract that runs through the conclusion of the 2022–2023 season, and he will restart his career once he recovers from this setback.

When a similar injury ended Ibrahimovic’s time at Manchester United, many believed his legendary career at the top level of football was done.

Ibrahimovic, however, proved to the world that he still had it after moving to the LA Galaxy in 2017 and returned to Milan in 2020, giving Stefano Pioli’s young team a merciless finishing touch and essential edge.

Since rejoining the Rossoneri, he has scored 36 goals in 64 games, further demonstrating his incredible durability. Ibrahimovic’s newest recovery photos have again cast doubt on the assumption that injuries have now started to slow him down and show that he is in fact human.

Since the completion of the season, Ibrahimovic has posted information about his healing procedure on social media.

He disclosed towards the end of May that he had his knee drained of fluid on a regular basis and uploaded a video of the surgery.
