Zlatan Ibrahimovic, AC Milan Striker, took to his page to share a video of himself in a behind-the-scene clip of a combat sequence featuring him.
Zlatan is not a stranger to the rough and tumble of martial arts, and he now showed his fighting skills in the video he shared via Instagram.
With sword in his hands, the former Barcelona striker strode across the “battlefield” (a marquee with the floor covered in crashmats), while killing off his attackers with an array of controlled kicks and throws before ending it with a freestyle football flourish.
The clip at first glance looked like an audition clip for the likes of “John Wick” series and he looked like someone that should be considered.
One of the Hashtags he added to the post included “#antivirus” which is a reference to the character he played in his recent movie scene.
Ibrahimovic played the role of a gladiator named Caius Antivirus in “Asterix & Obelix: The Middle Kingdom,” which was released earlier this year.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is a black belt holder in taekwondo, amazed his fans with the clip and many responded in the comment section about the man himself.
A fan said: “Zlatan doesn’t use sword, sword use Zlatan,” while another added “Zlatan doesn’t fight. Zlatan is the fight.”
The Swedish attacker seems to be taking the route to post-football acting career just like Neymar, Eric Cantona and even Zinedine Zidane.
This movie may not propel him to Hollywood’s A-list yet cause it has a 4.9/10 rating on IMDB and an audience score of 39% on Rotten Tomatoes.
But despite that, sharing of the rehearsal footage certainly won’t do his prospects any harm.
This isn’t the first time the former Manchester United and Barcelona midfielder has scored a major viral hit by showing off his physical prowess.
At the age of 40 years, he shared a video of himself performing abdominal crunches while suspended upside down from a punch bag clasped between his thighs and it got over 22 million views and 3.6 million likes within the first 24 hours.
There’s nothing special about these workouts, though they don’t seem regular to a lot of person, but its literally some high level of insane hardwork.
