Tottenham Hotspur star Yves Bissouma filmed himself taking a deadly laughing gas in the club a few days before the start of the Premier League season.
After the pre-season friendly match between Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich, Bissouma headed out for a party on Saturday, August 10, 2024.
In the video circulating on the social media, the former Brighton midfielder was seen laughing heavily before he inhaled the gas from the ballon.
This action has shocked the Tottenham Hotspur fans and manager . Possession and taking of laughing gas is illegal under UK law since last year. Repeated offenders will face two years of imprisonment.
The laughing gas is extremely dangerous to the extent that it can cause brain disorders, depression, memory loss, wildness, and nerve damage.
He took to his social media account to express his regret over the videos by apologizing for his severe lack of judgement.
Bissouma said, “I want to apologise for these videos. This was a severe lack of judgement. I understand how serious this is and the health risks involved, and I also take my responsibility as a footballer and role model very seriously.”
Tottenham Hotspur have failed to reveal whether the Yves Bissouma will be punished or not.
