Athletico Madrid striker, Luis Suarez has never hidden his love for his family at all times. This was not different as the forward recovered from COVID-19 after almost a month out of action.

In a show of love, the Uruguayan in a video finally came out of isolation after his recovery to finally reunite back with his family. The kids obviously missed their dad, as they see him, and ran towards him with a warm embrace, including the toddler.

In the video uploaded on his page, he wrote: “I have no words !! YOU ARE EVERYTHING IN MY LIFE I LOVE YOU! ❤️👧🏻👦🏻👶🏻 #mifuerza #misamores #losamo.”

Diego Simeone excited about the return of Luis Suarez from COVID-19

The return of Suarez to training is an exciting development for Athletico coach, Diego Simeone. Speaking ahead of their La Liga clash with Real Valladolid, he said his arrival means a more striking option for the team.

Suarez was unable to face his former club Barcelona, as he was still negative at that point.

“Luis Suárez is to join the rest of the team in training on Friday after testing negative in La Liga’s official PCR test. The Uruguayan, having followed the health protocols, has recovered from COVID-19 and is to join Simeone and the team,” a statement from the club’s website reads.

Atleti appears to be in good fun going into the game as they welcome Valladolid today at 6.30 pm CET.

The hosts are going into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, which marked a year without losing at the Wanda Metropolitano.

This year, Athletico recorded 15 wins and six draws in 21 games – 15 of which were La Liga fixtures at Wanda Metropolitano. Their last league game at home was a 1-0 win against FC Barcelona on Nov. 21 at the Stadium.

Simeone’s men are also going into the clash on the back of a 1-0 victory at Valencia last weekend.

Valladolid on the other hand is also in good shape, having picked up seven of the last nine points at stake.

Sergio González’s side earned their first away win of the season in their last away game, as they beat Granada 1-3 at the Nuevo Los Cármenes.
