The promising Leicester’s midfielder Wilfred Ndidi will undergo minor surgery after taking a knock in training, says Brendan Rodgers.
Ndidi was a standout player who has helped Leicester city in the midfield. Also, he is being linked to many teams in this transfer window. Sadly, he will be out for a long time following his upcoming surgery. Wilfred Ndidi’s injury will see him out until February 2019.
Rodgers said: ‘He took a knock in training on Tuesday. Unfortunately, he might need to have a slight operation tomorrow [Thursday] which will put him out for a few weeks. That’s just unfortunate.
‘But it’s not overly serious. Hopefully into February, he will be fit and ready to go again.’ Rogers added.
Since Ndidi is injured Hamza Choudhury and Dennis Praet are likely to see more playtime due to Ndidi’s upcoming absence, with Praet chosen alongside Youri Tielemans in the center against Villa.
Ndidi will surely be missed.
