Former Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez has emerged as a potential replacement for Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag if the club decides to sack the coach this season.
It was revealed that Manchester United have already made contact with Xavi Hernandez agent twice this week and will be considering appointing the Spaniard if the Manchester United managerial seat becomes available.
Xavi, who has been free agent since he was sacked by Barcelona last season, claimed he does not want to manage any football club in the Spanish La Liga.

Other sources from Old Trafford revealed that Ten Hag still remains the manager of the club, and the club have no plans to replace him this season as the Red Devils prepare to play against Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday, October 21, 2024.
The Manchester United hierarchy failed to make any comment in relation to the future of the Dutch manager even when the manager was not getting the desirable results.
Manchester United have endured a difficult start under Ten Hag after he kept his job in the summer during a summit meeting with the INEOS.
Amorin may also replace Ten Hag if the Dutch manager gets sacked.
Amorin has considered moving to the Premier League and was very close to joining Tottenham Hotspur in the 2023-24 season before the deal failed to materialize.
