Wilfried Zaha got praises from his partner Paige Bannister after the unveiling of his Mural painting on the streets of South London.
The painting which featured him in all three kits of Crystal Palace was made in South London with him celebrating in one of the images.
His partner, Paige Bannister, took to her Instagram page to celebrate the Palace Ace, saying how proud she was about him.
On her personal social media account, Paige wrote: “I am so proud of you,” while she added a heart emoji to the caption.
Wilfried Zaha on the other hand took to his account to write a note of appreciation and thanking the fans for such gift.
On his Twitter account, he wrote: “Speechless! Words can’t exactly express or describe the joy I felt standing there and witnessing this painting with my family and friends honestly 🥲 still hasn’t sunk in but all I can say is thank you ❤️”
The painting is an awesome gift any footballer will appreciate especially when it is done in the City you play in week in week out.
And with this painting now, it is looking like the fans do not want him to leave the Selhurst park as he is one of their best players – if not the best.
The super-rich club are prepared to throw fortunes at the winger who will become a free agent in the summer.
The Ivorian International, 30, is still on the lookout for top-flight clubs either from England or in Europe to bid for him.
The injury did come at the wrong time for the winger as he looks forward to a final major pay day.
Palace have already identified Zaha’s replacement should his big wages be cut out of their budget for the coming season.
The Eagles are looking out to replace Wilfried Zaha with Brazilian youngster Matheus Franca or Sunderland winger Jack Clarke.
Palace are also hoping to sign Bournemouth’s Jefferson Lerma for free this week — with James McArthur’s Selhurst Park career ending and Luka Milivojevic leaving.
Wilfried Zaha
Zaha graduated from the Crystal Palace Academy and his performance saw him break into the first team in 2010.
He scored 18 goals in all competitions for the club in his first three full seasons at Selhurst Park.
Zaha joined Manchester United in January 2013 for an initial fee of £10 million (which was the most expensive Crystal Palace player sold at the time).
The forward however, remained on loan at Crystal Palace until the end of the season, where he helped The Eagles return to the Premier League.
Zaha returned to Palace in August 2014 on a season-long loan after an unsuccessful 2013–14 season with Manchester United (mostly spent on loan at Cardiff City).
