Haaland is a young and talented striker who has scored goals for fun at Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City. He won a treble for Manchester City last season and is expected to have a big impact in the Premier League this season.
Other players who could challenge for the Ballon d’Or in 2023 include Kylian Mbappe, Karim Benzema, Vinicius Junior, and Robert Lewandowski.
Mbappe is a world-class forward who is still only 24 years old. Benzema who currently plays for Al-Ittihad in Saudi Pro League won the Champions League with Real Madrid in 2021-22 season, and he is one of the most prolific goalscorers in the world.
Vinicius Junior is a young Brazilian winger who has been in great form for Real Madrid in recent seasons.
Lewandowski is a Polish striker who has won the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich for four successive seasons, and won Laliga on his debut season at FC Barcelona.
The 2023 Ballon d’Or will be awarded in October 2023. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top.
