UEFA Clears AC Milan of Financial Fair Play

UEFA’s Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) has confirmed that AC Milan have met their Financial Fair Play (FFP) targets for the 2023-2024 season.

This announcement comes after the CFCB First Chamber assessed the club’s financial performance under a Settlement Agreement this week.

Milan, along with Inter Milan, AS Monaco, Olympique de Marseille, Paris Saint-Germain, Besiktas JK, Trabzonspor A.S, and Royal Antwerp FC, were found to have fulfilled the intermediate financial targets set for the 2023 financial year.

This news is a testament to the significant progress made by Milan’s ownership in improving the club’s financial stability.

Meanwhile, in 2019, AC Milan agreed to a Settlement Agreement with UEFA, which included exclusion from the Europa League, to address financial irregularities. Since then, the club have made substantial strides in achieving financial compliance.

While Milan will continue to be monitored for another two years, this development clears the way for the club to operate with greater financial flexibility in the transfer market.

What’s next for AC Milan?

The Rossoneri will host Venezia in the Serie A on Saturday, September 14 with Kick-off set at 19:45 GMT.
