Derby County captain, Wayne Rooney seemed to have grown up from being involved in controversies by dedicating more time to his family.
The former England international had been involved in infidelity and drunk driving controversies but he seemed to have grown for good.
The 34-year-old Englishman had dedicated spending the off-season with his family, especially with the boys. This is probably to lay good examples for them to be better than him.
The former Manchester United striker took to his Instagram page to upload the fun time in a swimming pool with two of his sons, as all were laughing. He complimented the pictures with the word: “Nothing better than laughing with the boys”. This really shows that Rooney is now a family man, big up to him.
Earlier in the month, Rooney and his family went on a couple’s night out. They were all showing their smiles to show a bond that might have missed for a long time in the 18-year-old marriage.

Meanwhile, Rooney will soon return to the pitch to do what he knows how to do best – playing football. The English Championship will resume on September 12. This is the same as the Premier League.
Having ended the season out of the promotion and playoff spot, Rooney could help Derby return to the Premier League this season. This means that Philip Cocu’s men will have to up their game.
The likes of Watford, Bournemouth, and Norwich City that got relegated will want to mount an instant return to the English top-tier.
With Rooney’s home looking settled and everyone excited, the captain could afford to give the team all necessary concentration and bring the side back to the Premier League. They will open their campaign at home,e against Reading.
Before that happens, one can say that Rooney is really happy to perform his husband and fatherly role.
