Derby striker Wayne Rooney, 34, seems to have dedicated is off-season time to spending a lot of time with his family. The former Manchester United striker had earlier taken his wife colleen out for a couples night out.
It seems it’s time for the boys to get some hang-out time with their father.
Rooney’s marriage hasn’t always been a bed of roses, as he has been involved in different scandals from infidelity to drunk-driving. However, in recent times he seems to have grown up to his responsibilities as a father and husband.
Rooney has four boys from his marriage with his wife Coleen whom he has been married to for the past 18 years.
KAI ROONEY. The first of the boys is Kai, born November 2nd, 2009, is the first of the four boys and has followed in the footsteps of his father as he has taken to football himself, maybe not in the same end of Manchester as he currently a member of Manchester City Academy, but seems to have taken to private coaching since the lockdown.
Klay Rooney The second of the boys is Klay Anthony Rooney, he doesn’t seem to be a fan of the round leather “yet” has the mother says he loves to watch a lot of wrestling, only time would tell if Klay would join his brother on the pitch or he could be the first “John Cena” of the family. Kit Rooney was born in 2016 and is the third of the Rooney brothers a lot of people feel he was named after his father’s favourite clothing. While the last born was Cass Rooney, born in 2018, and pretty much still a mum’s boy.
Rooney’s Derby County will be back in action in the Championship by September 12th as they take another shot at promotion to the English top-flight, but it seems the former England international is more focused on spending is time with his family right now.
