Vinicius Junior of Real Madrid received massive support from football players following racial abuse he suffered during the weekend.

Football stars from all over the world show their tremendous support for Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior following the racial abuse he underwent during a match between Real Madrid and Valencia.

Jordan Sancho, Recce James, and Vincent Kompany are among several others who took to their Instagram pages to send messages of support for the Brazilian International.

Vinicius Jr was again the topic of racial abuse in Real Madrid’s 1-0 loss to Valencia on Sunday, 21st of May, with the Real Madrid winger also controversially sent off.

The La Liga powerhouse suffered a defeat at the hand of Valencia as they took a big step toward League safety.

But the game itself was overshadowed by horrible chants directed at Vinicius and it is far from the first time it has happened.

Those close to the situation said they felt as if it came from a larger portion of the Valencia fans than before, suggesting the problem is getting terrible.

Both Vinicius and Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti pleaded with La Liga to take a meaningful effort and begin to seriously crack down on the contentious habit that the Brazilian winger has been subjected to in Spain.

During the match between Madrid and Valencia, the referee stopped the game in the 70th minute after Vinicius Jr. signaled to him from the bleachers at Mestalla Stadium.

Vinicius walked up to the area after pointing, started yelling and gesticulating aggressively at the Valencia supporters there, who responded with their own horrible chants and flags.

Real Madrid teammates joined Vinicius in yelling at the crowd, which included players from the opposing club.

He will be eligible to play for Real Madrid on May 24 against Rayo Vallecano without fear of suspension.

Police have announced that four people have been arrested in connection with a racist effigy of Vini Jr. that was hung from a bridge in January, and a further three arrests have been made in connection with the behavior inside the stadium in Valencia.

However, According to reports on Wednesday, the Spanish Football Association suspended Ignacio Iglesias Villanueva for his involvement in the sending off of Vini Jr.
