According to Mario Cortegana, a journalist for Marca, Rodrygo will also sign a six-year contract.

After a sensational breakout season in which he scored 22 goals in 52 games across all competitions—including the game-winning goal in the Champions League final victory over Liverpool—Vinicius Jr., 21, has been rewarded with an enhanced deal.

The Brazilian international had been linked to Paris Saint-Germain, but he is expected to stay at the Bernabeu after accepting a reported salary of £34.3 million a season.

In an earlier interview with SporTV, Vinicius Jr. declared: “I will continue in the biggest club in the world.

“This is just the beginning. I have many things to conquer. I hope to have many trophies at the end of my career.”

Rodrygo, a 21-year-old fellow countryman, will also stay with Madrid after scoring nine goals in 49 games the previous season.

After creating a strong defensive partnership with David Alaba last season, Militao, 24, was also rewarded with a new contract.

After they have returned for preseason training in preparation for the upcoming season, all three players are anticipated to sign their new contracts soon.

By including the same significant release clause in each of their new contracts, Real Madrid plans to sign three of its most promising young players to long-term deals.

According to sources, the reigning European and Spanish champions Madrid are planning to add a €1 billion (£861 million) release clause to the contracts of Brazilian trio Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, and Eder Militao.

According to renowned transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, by accepting the new contracts, all three players would pledge their careers to Madrid.

On July 23, Madrid will play a preseason friendly against rival Barcelona in Las Vegas, and on August 14, they travel to Almeria for their first La Liga game.
