Manchester United fans made their feelings towards Ed Woodward and the Glazer family crystal clear during Saturday’s 4-0 victory over Norwich City. Edward Gareth Woodward is the executive vice-chairman of Manchester United FC and effectively the chief executive overseeing the club’s operations.
The Old Trafford faithful, who are dismayed with how far the club have fallen since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013, chanted anti-Woodward and Glazer songs during the second half of the match.
United recorded a convincing victory over the Canaries but that wasn’t enough to prevent the supporters from voicing their anger towards the club’s hierarchy. It’s been a while since so many Man Utd fans joined in an anti-Glazer or Woodward chant during a match.
Is this too much from the fans or is it acceptable?
