Victor Osimhen has fallen into trouble over an altercation with a fan filming him in a nightclub in the Campania capital.
The already doubt-filled future of the 25-year-old Nigeria international with Napoli was plunged into deeper uncertainty after he furiously confronted and assaulted a fan who was recording him at a nightclub.
A 16-second video, which was allegedly shared by TikTok user Roberto Cerullo and reported by Corriere dello Sport, showed Osimhen pushing his way through the crowd, trying to get the phone off the fan’s hand.
Further details reveal the Nigeria international did not want to be filmed, hence the move to stop the fan from continuing with the video. His aggressive move on the fan is said to have led to a temporary bust-up before calm was restored following intervention by others.
Corriere dello Sport adds that Osimhen is expected to be fined for that brawl because of Napoli’s new head coach, Antonio Conte.
Conte is known for his tough and strong-hand approach to player management. So, Victor Osimhen is not expected to escape punishment for the incident.
The incident is the latest episode in what is proving to be a dramatic transfer summer for Osimhen, who joined Napoli from Lille back in 2020 for €70m.
