All may not be going well between prolific Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen and his lover Stephanie Ladewig.
The two lovers, who met at Wolfsburg – Victor Osimhen’s first European club after being scouted from Ultimate Strikers Academy in Nigeria – are currently spending their summer holiday separately and in different locations.
After a prolific campaign with Napoli in Serie A, winning the Golden Boot and leading the Gil Azzurri to their first Serie A title in 33 years, Victor Osimhen traveled back to Nigeria to link up with the country’s national team for the 2023 AFCON Qualifiers against Sierra Leone.
Victor Osimhen led the Super Eagles of Nigeria to a dramatic 3-2 win over Sierra Leone in Paynesville. The former Lille forward hit a quickfire first half brace to swing the Super Eagles into the lead before Sierra Leone fought back to cancel out the two-goal lead.
Leicester City forward Iheanacho hit a stoppage-time winner as the Super Eagles ran out 3-2 winners to seal a place in 2023 AFCON which has been rescheduled to January, 2024.
After being in action for Nigeria in the international break, Futballnews understands Victor Osimhen is now in his hometown in Lagos, Nigeria.
Osimhen has been spotted spending time with his friends and pals in Lagos. He was also received by former Super Eagles player Ogenyi Onazi with his entourage at Onazi’s Lagos residence.
The 24-year-old has also been spotted having a kickabout with his friends as he wilds away the summer break before returning to Napoli for preseason.
Osimhen also made headlines as he took his prolific career with Napoli to a 5-aside football competition in Lagos, displaying his stunning dribbling and goal-scoring football skills.
Where is Stephanie Ladewig?
While Osimhen is having a nice time back home in Lagos, Futballnews understands his girlfriend and lover Stephanie Ladewig is in Portugal. Stephanie joined a host of other music lovers to attend an Afrobeat music event in Portimao, Portugal featuring Al-list Nigerian artists such as Davido and Asake.
Meanwhile, it is understood Stephanie Kim Ladewig has been off the social media for unknown reasons before making his first appearance at the Afrobeat music event away from his lover Victor Osimhen.
Victor Osimhen Splitting From Stephanie Ladewig?
Although recent moves by the two lovers points in the direction of a tensed relationship, it is, however, yet to be confirmed whether Osimhen and Ladewig have gone their separate ways after years into the relationship. Osimhen met Ladewig in Germany when he was plying his trade with Wolfsburg in Bundesliga in 2019. The pair have been together since then. They have a one-year old daughter together named Hailey.
Stephanie Ladewig is said to have pushed for Osimhen to seal a move back to Germany because she wants their daughter to be raised close to their maternal mother.
Osimhen has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich, including Manchester United and Chelsea this summer after he hurled in 26 goals for Napoli to end the club’s three decades wait for the Scudetto.
