Udinese Midfielder Lazar Samardzic is Set to Join Inter Milan on a Five-Year Deal

Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic will join 2022–23 Champions League finalists Inter Milan on a five-year contract.

The Nerazzurri will sign the 21-year-old on a permanent basis for a fee of around €16 million plus €2–3 million in add-ons.

The midfielder is set to undergo medicals on August 7, 2023.

It was reported that Inter Milan are looking forward to announcing him as a new player next week after his medical.

Lazar Samardzic was not in the Udinese friendly match against Al-Rayyan on August 5, 2023, when Udinese defeated the Saudi Arabian team by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan Giovanni Fabian is set to join Udinese, with Inter Milan including a buyback clause worth €12 million in the 20-year-old midfielder’s contract.

The midfielder will be a good addition to Simeone Inzaghi’s team as they look to compete for silverware this season. Lazar Samardzic can be a box-to-box player in the Inter Milan 3-5-2 Formation.

Lazar Samardzic will allow Inter Milan manager Simeone Inzaghi to rotate the squad and bring in fresh legs.

Samardzic will be putting on number 24 as a new Inter Milan player. It was the same number he wore at Udinese two seasons ago.

After the completion of the Samardzic deal, Inter Milan is now focusing on other transfers. They are so interested in signing Arsenal striker Leon Balogun.
